　　报告摘要：This is a series talks on the representation theory of vertex operator algebras. The goal is to give an elementary introduction to the highest weight module theory for vertex operator algebras. There will be three lectures: (1) Basics of representations; (2) Highest weight representations, (3) Zhu algebras and classification of irreducible modules;  (3) Rationality and associative algebras.

　　报告人简介： 董崇英，美国加州大学 Santa Cruz 分校教授， 博士生导师，国际著名数学家，主要从事无穷维李代数和顶点算子代数研究，在顶点算子代数(Vertex operator algebras)、Orbifold理论以及广义月光(Generalized moonshine)理论等方面的做出了出色的研究成果。
